TDSC-carpool -- Network with others in the Bay area to share rides
About TDSC-carpool	English (USA)
There are many wonderful contra and English country dances each month throughout the Bay area, including here in Santa Cruz and Felton. Driving there, and here, can be either expensive or not an option for the carless and driving alone can be both boring and can dramatically increase your personal carbon footprint. This e-list is for anyone who wants to network with others for the purpose of coordinating shared transportation either from Santa Cruz or to a Santa Cruz or Felton dance. Please note: to make this process easier and more effective for all, please include in the subject line "NEED:" because you need a ride, "OFFER:" because you want to drive or "SHARE:" to indicate that you're flexible. Also include your city name and the location and date of the dance. This will help people quickly assess the relevance of the message to their own situation. In the body of the message you can indicate who is playing and calling the dance, specific timing desired for departure and return and your name and telephone number(s). Also, if there is a picture of you on the Internet, you can include a link so that people know who you are. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the TDSC-carpool Archives. Using TDSC-carpool
To post a message to all the list members, send email to tdsc-carpool@santacruzdance.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to TDSC-carpool
Subscribe to TDSC-carpool by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
